Anush Margaryan
Anush Margaryan joined the Eurasia Partnership Foundation in 2016 as a manager of the Foundation’s “Promoting Religious Tolerance and Non-Discrimination in Armenia” project. Prior to that she was an adviser to the Ombudsman of Armenia on the rights of children, persons with disabilities, minorities and refugees. Being a human rights professional Anush was involved as a member and provided professional support to intergovernmental, international working groups aimed at providing solutions to various systemic issues in the sphere of rights of vulnerable groups. Anush is currently a member of the Armenian Ministry of Justice and UNICEF Juvenile Justice Council within the project on “Improvement of Access to Justice for Children”. She is also an acting vice-president of the “Promotion of Constitutionalism and Human Rights” NGO.
Anush Margaryan holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law from Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, as well as MA in European Studies (Human Rights and Democratization) from Yerevan State University. She has also studied at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University’s law department as a part of the Master’s Programme in European Studies.
Anush has participated in a number of professional trainings dedicated to the rights of vulnerable groups, mediation, negotiation and leadership, as well as was hosted by local TV and Radio programs as a human rights expert, participated in local and international human rights conferences as a speaker and moderator.
