Mariam Hovhannisyan is Program Assistant at Eurasia Partnership Foundation. Mariam is highly skilled in project management in the youth field and has been working with youth on skills development at national and international level. She is specialized in English philology and Cross-Cultural Communication having the background of an external affairs expert. Mariam has joined EPF right after her ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering experience in Italy. As an ESC volunteer she was a part of an Association, working for the preservation of the local environment and cultural heritage of the Amalfi Coast. Mariam has always been actively involved in NGO sector, performing her activities in her community and beyond.

Currently, Mariam is also a mentorship facilitator at Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) Network, which is an EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (EU Neighbours East) project. She is also EU4Youth Alumni, in the frames of which she has worked with young Yezidi and Armenian youngsters in Talin, Aragatsotn region of Armenia. Prior to EPF, Mariam has worked at Public Television Company of Armenia. She has started as an Assistant and then was promoted to Senior Officer of International Affairs. Since 2015, she has also been a project coordinator and co-founder of Masis NGO, where she worked with local youth to improve their skills and competencies introducing them to the culture of volunteering.
