POSITION TITLE: Program Assistant at Eurasia Partnership Foundation
DURATION OF THE CONTRACT: One year with possible extension
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Program Assistant will support the implementation of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation's programs and contribute to the Foundation's communications activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Programmatic Support:
- Support the implementation of program activities, including the preparation of program documents, reports, presentations, and other project materials.
- Communicate and coordinate with program partners, beneficiaries, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain program files, records, and contact databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Organize meetings, workshops, events, and other program-related activities, providing logistical and administrative support.
- Assist with procurement and administrative processes related to program activities, in accordance with EPF policies and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and meetings and maintain the Program's calendar.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting notes, and other program documents.
- Take minutes during program and office meetings and distribute records and action points as required.
- Maintain program materials, publications, and office supplies related to program activities.
- Support data collection and organization for program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting purposes.
- Facilitate internal coordination by responding to routine inquiries and directing requests to the appropriate team members.
- Work proactively and take initiative to support the team's operational and programmatic needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Update and maintain EPF's stakeholder and media contact databases.
- Assist in preparing and distributing communication materials, including news, press releases, newsletters, and other publications.
- Assist in updating EPF's website and social media channels with news, events, publications, photos, and other content if required.
- Support the promotion and visibility of EPF projects and initiatives through social media.
- Support the maintenance and promotion of project websites
- Assist with other communication and organizational tasks assigned by the Communications Supervisor or CEO.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher education in any related field, and/or at least 2 years of work/internship experience in the civil society sector
- Ability to work in multi-cultural context
- Commitment to the values of diversity, inclusion and peacebuilding
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing information, preparing analytical reports, preparing and delivering presentations
- Fluency in Armenian and English -knowledge of regional languages is an advantage
- High computer literacy, with good knowledge of social media tools
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Mature judgment combined with a problem-solving approach
- Familiarity with simple audio-video editing
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
